Grove Collaborative Free Gift with Purchase

In this post I’ll share with you a review of the Grove Collaborative Free Gift With Purchase to help you decide if this is right for you.

I paid for all of these items with my own money and this post is not sponsored. However, I do have a refer-a-friend link that I would like to share with you so you can take advantage of their current free gift with purchase (refer-a-friend link).

Grove Collaborative Free Gift With Purchase

Grove Collaborative is offering a free 5-piece cleaning set (refer-a-friend link) with your first purchase. From what I gather, an item or two may change in the offer, but it’s usually 5 items. I signed up and will share my thoughts about it with you below.
These are the 5 items I got for free (refer-a-friend link):

Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Hand Soap in Lavender

Price: $3.89 FREE
Size: 12.5 oz

A hand soap made from naturally derived ingredients and essential oils with over 13 scents to choose from.

I love the strong lavender scent this has. I did not notice any drying, which is great because I have dry skin.

  • No parabens, sulfates, phthalates, DEA, MEA, or artificial colors
  • Made in the USA
  • Leaping Bunny certified, no animal derived ingredients and not tested on animals

Mrs. Meyer’s clean day Multi-Surface Cleaner in Orange Clove

Price: $3.89 FREE
Size: 16 oz

Multi-surface cleaner with 12 scents to choose from. Created with plant derived ingredients and essential oils.

A multi-surface cleaner is good for every household and it works well in mine. I chose the orange clove scent and although it’s strong, I like it.

  • Biodegradable
  • Made in the USA
  • Leaping bunny certified, no animal-derived products and not tested on animals

Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Dish Soap in Lemon Verbena

Price: $3.89 FREE
Size: 16 oz

Concentrated dish soap made from essential oils and plant-derived ingredients. There are 12 scents to choose from.

This dish soap worked just as well as the Dawn dish soap that I usually buy. It was as thick and it had a better scent, but it still did the job. I chose the scent Peony and it was lovely and strong.

  • Made in the USA
  • Leaping bunny certified, free of animal derived products and not tested on animals
  • No parabens, pthalates, MEA & DEA, or artificial colors

Grove Collaborative – Cleaning Caddy in Limited Edition Pomegranate

Price: $14.95 FREE
Size: One size

A metal cleaning caddy that can be used for other things as well.

In an attempt to stay organized, I like to keep my cleaning products in the room that they will be used, so I don’t carry them around from room to room. I ended up using this caddy to put all the inserts and brochures I get from all of my subscriptions so I will know exactly where it’s at when I write these reviews. What’s really cool is that they allow you to choose the style and allow you to choose the limited edition designs. This pomegranate design is no longer available but they’ve come out with a cute spring inspired design.

Grove Collaborative – Walnut Scrubber Sponge, Set of 2

Price: $3.95 FREE
Size: 2 count

Scrubber sponge made with crushed walnuts and 100% all natural vegetable cellulose to make the sponge absorbent. Not suitable for those with nut allergies.

This sponge worked just fine. I did notice that it broke down a little faster than the typical sponge though.

  • Sustainably made in North America
  • Non-abrasive

Grove Collaborative – Glass Spray Bottle with Silicone Sleeve in Slate Gray

Price: $12.95 FREE
Size: 16 oz

* This was an additional Grove Collaborative Free Gift With Purchase I got for free when I spent over a certain dollar amount that I have now forgotten.

Glass spray bottle with a protective silicone sleeve. The sleeve is available in 5 colors. Meant to be used with concentrated cleaners but can be used for anything.

I use this hefty spray bottle for the tub and tile cleaner and keep it in my bathroom cabinet. This has a sturdy design.

This was a 6th item I got for free for reaching a certain spending threshold. I forgot what that threshold was but they offer these sorts of deals all the time.

  • BPA free

Grove Collaborative Haul

These are the items that I bought in order to qualify for the free Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day set.

Grove Collaborative – Floor Cleaning Concentrate, Set of 2 in Lavender & Thyme

Price: $5.95
Size: Two (2) concentrated containers with 1 oz each

Concentrated floor cleaner that’s available in two scents and great to use with their glass bottles. I love how well this floor cleaner worked and I really loved the scent. I will buy this again.

  • Safe for use on all hard floors, including finished wood
  • Made in the USA
  • No harsh chemicals, colorants or synthetic fragrances
  • Leaping bunny certified

Grove Collaborative – Cleaning Gloves, Yellow Design in Medium/Large

Price: $6.95
Size: Small/Medium or Medium/Large

Cleaning gloves with a cute fabric design that folds over the opening. These gloves work perfectly fine and fit my hands well, so I keep them in the bathroom for when its time to clean.

  • Nylon interior protects hands from hot water

Method Antibac Bathroom Cleaner in Spearmint

Price: $2.99
Size: 28 oz

A cleaner made specifically for the bathroom and works to kill germs and to get rid of soap scum and hard water stains.

It cleaned up bathroom messes as far as I can tell, but this scent is hard to get used to. Not that it smells bad, it actually smells pretty, but the minty scent is usually not something I associate with the bathroom.

  • No BPA, parabens, nuts, triclosan, or CFC
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Made with renewable energy, biodegradable, responsible packaging
  • Leaping Bunny certified and vegan
  • Made in the USA

Grove Collaborative – Tub & Tile Cleaning Concentrate, Set of 2 in Orange & Rosemary

Price: $5.95
Size: Two (2) concentrated containers with 1 oz each

Effective tub and tile cleaning concentrate with toxin-free cleaning agents that can be used on ceramic tile, porcelain, stainless steel, fiberglass and more. However, it’s not recommended for use on marble or brass.

This was the star of the show and is the reason why I’ll continue to buy my cleaning products at Grove Collaborative.

This gave my tub the sparkly shine I would see in commercials. The only other cleaner to make my shower shine like that is a 1:1 mixture of Dawn dish detergent and vinegar. I understand making that mixture is easy and also affordable, it’s just not convenient to store in my bathroom where I like to have all the cleaning products handy. Trust me I get it, I can walk to the laundry area to make it and then just walk back. I want cleaning to be not only effective but also AS SIMPLE AS POSSIBLE. That means that the products need to be stored in my bathroom. I already know. Don’t judge me. I’m complicated.

Anyways, you will like this cleaner and I recommend it.

  • Leaping Bunny certified
  • Made in the USA
  • Free of harsh chemicals, colorants, and synthetic fragrances

Grove Collaborative Review

This total amount my cart came out to was $65.36, but after free shipping and the discount ($43.52) for my free gifts with purchase, I ended up paying $23.92 (including tax) for everything you saw in this post.

Grove Collaborative also sells personal care, baby and pet items too, not just cleaning products. I needed cleaning products so that was what I chose to buy.

I realized that “greener” cleaning can be affordable and effective. I’ll continue to use Grove Collaborative and most of the products I’ve tested with this haul.
